Ethan's Baptism

This past Saturday Ethan was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by his Daddy. It was a really nice program. We had Emma and her friend, Tyler sing a duet of "A Child's Prayer" which turned out so lovely. I love to hear the two of them sing. I also managed to talk Emma into giving the talk on the Holy Ghost. I printed off 4 ready made talks for her to choose from and make her own. I told her that I was just trying to help her to be a good public speaker and teacher and she just laughed. She seems to think that I was just trying to get out of doing it myself. Me do that, never. hahaha. The talk had some props that she wasn't comfortable asking the audience what they thought they meant so I got up and did that portion and then she would read off the correct answer. Our props were, a candle, a compass, a pair of eyeglasses, a blanket, a teddy bear and a sea shell. She did such a good job and got lots of compliments. She is a very talented sweet girl. We also got to share the day with a good friend and her daughter that was being baptized then we rushed off to Ethan's final basketball game of the season. Ethan is also a very sweet and talented boy and he kept giving me hugs and telling me that he loved me all day long.
