Jordyn's Baptism

Here's my beautiful girl on the day of her baptism.  We took some time to take a few pictures of her for her autograph frame.  Everyone that came signed the matting for her to remember who was there. It's kind of like a yearbook signing.  Jordyn loves to pose for pictures so we got a ton because she kept telling me to take more for different poses that she wanted to do.  I would have more on here but picasa is being frustrating so I was unable to collage a bunch of the other ones and I didn't want a ton of single pics on here.  

Daddy performed the baptism and after she was confirmed, she announced to everyone that his hands were shaking the whole time.  It was hilarious!  For weeks all she could talk about was how she was so excited to get baptized and that she could hardly wait.  She is a little bummed because we were unable to get her a set of scriptures because they are hard to come by right now.  The church is changing how they make them and how many so we got caught in the transition stage and are awaiting some to become available.  It's really strange not just going and getting a set like we are used to.  I guess that's what the age of electronics has done.  Jordyn wore the dress that her big Sis Emma wore and we also let, her practically sister, Sydney wear and now Jordyn had her turn in it.  It is always more fun to wear something that is special and has significance.  The headband was her little added flair to make it her own.  

 After the baptism we came back to the house and had a bbq.  I wish that I would have thought to bring the camera out, but for whatever reason the thought escaped me.  I seem to either be taking a zillion pictures or none at all.  It is much easier for me to play cameraman when I am not the hostess of the event.  We had 4 families join us for some food and fun.  When I asked Jordyn how she felt after she said, "really happy and it was a lot shorter than I expected."  She was also praised by our bishopric member that she was the fastest changer after coming out of the water that he had ever seen and she even beat her Daddy.
