Hippy?

So, now that I've starting printing out my fb I have not been using my blog. I'm gonna keep on trying. I already posted what I'm about to say there today, but wanted it here as well. More of my random thoughts for future posterity pleasure.

Driving the RV yesterday listening to some Best of Creedence Clearwater Revival and thinking about where we are as a country. As I was listening to "Fortunate Son" I thought that we really need to have another "hippy movement." only. not so. hippy. We could start with this song. Instead of it being about protesting the draft it could be about how our rulers aren't subject to law, but we the regular people (not senator, or millionaire sons) are. I find it ironic that the hippy movement was all about "the man" and now they are either "the man" or now believe in "the man." All the major love and tolerance and forced charity movements are supported and upheld by our government. That should set off the spidey senses and alert us that people are looking for government to be their god -which the government loves because that's how they control their people. Evil is called good and good is called evil. We are told how and what to think by our government and the news with lies and sensationalism, and people fall in line like good little soldiers "while the band plays hail to the chief." Free thinking and free love are dead...unless you agree with the government's inconsistent version of proper thought and love. You can use violence and it should be understood ONLY if it fits the agenda, and it's hailed as having "star spangled (more like UN global flag) eyes." Yes. It's time for a new hippy movement. With anthems of true freedom as our founders intended where ALL are subject to the rule of law and the government has handcuffs on to protect it's people from its overreach. A movement of peace and love where everyone is valued, not just certain groups of people-which only serves to further divide and inflame. It's the only way we can truly be free. Only problem? We're either too afraid to be labeled as hateful or all too busy going to work and raising kids to sit around and start a movement. Until then I'll be singing with a new intention; "it ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's ...(or)...millionaire's son! No!"
Ephesians 6:10-13 is my motto and 6:14-18 is how to accomplish it. We may not be able to start a hippy type movement, but we can be sure that we have "done all to stand" for truth and righteousness in all things and not be deceived.
