One Redeeming Quality.......

Ok, so maybe there are a couple more qualities that are good in my not so little Champ! The dog is costing me a fortune though in destroyed items around the house. Namely shoes, toys, food, remote controls, the mop basically you name it and he wants to chew it! He is really good about not chewing on furniture; I guess that is a plus. We might be up to two redeeming qualities?? Ok, Ok number 3 would have to be that he doesn't go crazy whenever someone is at the door. He also surprisingly left the Christmas tree alone! Champ is just a huge ball of energy that literally poops his body weight in a week which has got to be 50 or 60 pounds! Yea, yea, I know Ang........"I told you their poop was huge" (insert evil cackle)!!!!! lol One good thing about the size of the poop is that with my handy dandy pooper scooper it is really easy to find and pick up. Did I just turn something negative into a positive????? Way to go me!!! :) Anyway, while Nate has been home the last few days he took Champ on his walks and so I didn't go and that has not worked out so well for me and my holiday food binging. So his best quality is that he is my own little treadmill that doesn't allow me to not feel like exercising. Rain, snow and wind have not kept us from our little walks outside and I must say that I have really enjoyed them (except for when he turns into psyco dog) and missed them these last couple of days. Maybe one of these days I can actually say that I like my dog.....for more than just a treadmill. ;) He is a sweet boy and is learning pretty quickly how to be a good boy.....if I could only channel my inner "dog whisperer" we could sail right through this puppy stage and into blissful adulthood. BTW Can you believe I actually let my massively shedding dog on my lap---let alone the couch---with me? I'm such a sucker! :) Look at him eyeing that remote! He is just acting like he wants me to pet and love on him while he secretly plots his move for the tasty and irresistible remote!
