I thought I would give a little update to my post "are you kidding me?" Despite my incredibly negative attitude about things that go wrong in my life things inevitably work out for the best in the end. No matter how many times things work out it doesn't seem to keep the "Eeyore" attitude at bay, which my sweet husband always like to remind me of. The contrast between my pessimism and his optimism works well for us. Anyway, we were already a few weeks into the process of getting quotes to do our backyard when I finally decided to tackle the last gazebo because it had been taking forever and we didn't think we would be building a structure anyway. Then the micro burst came along and, well, you saw the pictures. We were able to do more in our backyard than we thought we were going to be able to do and so now we have a solid structure that is supported deep into the ground (they had to jack hammer the concrete out to pour footings for the posts) as well as some beautiful grass and big trees. I don't think this gazebo is going anywhere!

It turned out so well! I love that gazebo, it just screams, "come out and sit under me!!" I saw the other pics on Facebook and your yard looks awesome. I'm glad it all turned out well, despite the troubles in the beginning. :-)
