What a Mess!

What have I gotten myself into? Why oh why did I decide that the office needed a complete overhaul? You should see the state of the floor in the office and into the stairway! I am going through everything! I finally sorted out all of the kids' mementos and made cute clear colored storage bins for them. Everything that I have been saving and some photos went into the boxes and there is plenty of room to hopefully get them through a few more years and maybe even high school. I also reorganised all my cute little boxes that had all kinds of hidden treasures in them. I had stuff spread out everywhere so I finally consolidated everything and put them in my favorite things- clear storage bins! My other best friend is my label maker. I feel soooo Martha right now with my matching bins with labels! Now the only problem is getting everything back on the shelves and figuring out what to do with my cute little boxes that are cluttering the floor right now. Am I in there right now trying to connect with my creative organizational self? Nope! I am watching tv and wishing for a magic wand to go and clean up the huge mess I made! On an encouraging note, I did start and finish to an acceptable level the closet in my bathroom. I got rid of a ton on hideous stuff and a whole lotta shoes that my sister-in-law was kind enough to take off my hands. There is nothing quite like the feeling of neat and organized. I also decided to tap into my youth and take a bunch of postcards that I had from my 2 trips to Maui and tape them on the wall in my closet. It is actually quite enjoyable to look at and it makes me happy. ...
I can do this! I can finish up tomorrow and then sit and enjoy my perfectly organised hobby room and know exactly where everything is!

It's always worth it once you're done, but the getting there is a pain. Now I just need some pictures of your organizational skills so I can accurately picture it in my head. Better yet, I need to come visit so I can picture your whole house in my head when you're talking about it!
