Crafty Craftin'

I am finally getting around to posting the "after" pics of my office bookshelf makeover. It would have been fun to see the before, but just the after will have to do. I think it turned out pretty well. Martha would probably be more proud if I had used all of the same kind of bins and things, but there are labels and every thing has it's very own little place. This is very helpful when actually trying to find things- imagine that! :)
For our "New Beginnings" night at church we took photos of each of the girls next to a flag that my secretary made that says Virtue and has the Angel Moroni on it. I made each of the pic frames by spray painting a plain wooden frame silver and then using my favorite cutting machine to make all the little embellishments. Then I used my handy little sticker maker and slapped all those cute little things on the frames and there ya go. Cute stuff!



Then for a special lesson that I did on testimonies I gave my secretary all the stuff I wanted for this idea that I had and she made them into these super cute little books. Are secretaries awesome or what? There are some quotes in there. A page about how you go about getting a t. A page about the 5 key elements that should be included in a t. Last, but not least a list of simple answers to questions that friends might ask, oh and a spot in the back to add your own personal t should you want to.
So, there you have it. The crafty craftin' that I have been up to lately. :)
