I love it when the unexpected happens! I was cleaning my house while listening to the radio when some concert tickets for M at K earney were being given away. I really love his music so I decided to give it a try and I WON! It was an awesome night at a local bar and stage listening to the musical talent of an incredibly skinny man..... sorry...but his legs were the size of my arms! But, he has an amazing voice and is really funny and we had a good time. Nate was a good sport going with me even though he didn't know who he was, but was so glad that he did. He loved it too and thought they had incredible talent. We were also entertained by J ane C arrey who was equally funny and entertaining and I enjoyed her quirky songs. We were also entertained by 2 people in the audience that obviously believed they were at a rock concert because every couple of minutes they screamed at the top of their lungs. MK was only about a foot from them and handled it well, but I'm sure he had nightmares about it that night. I know I was ready to go over to them and put the smack down when it went from funny to downright annoying. Luckily I still had an amazing night with my hubs and one of my musical crushes. :)

My Night With M.K.

How fun! I swear I never win anything. So did you hear yourself on the radio and everything? I'm always too scared to call in because I just know I'll sound like a doofus on the radio. Maybe that's why I never win anything. Hehe :-)
