Ethan's teacher asked the students to draw a picture of something they are good at. This kid just makes me smile. He really loves music. He has to know the name of every song on the radio and who is singing it. When there is a song he particularly likes he goes online and watches a video of that song with the lyrics scrolling across the screen and then I usually have to print out the lyrics from another site for him. Now if I could just get him to actually sit down and practice the piano instead of only playing when the teacher comes! He keeps asking his teacher to get him the music to his favorite songs because he only wants to play those songs and not "baby songs." Patience grasshopper.

While Nate and I were away last weekend the kids stayed at my friends house. She asked my youngest what she wanted to be when she grows up. Her answer: " a tattoo artist, teacher, mom." Alrighty then! I wonder what kind of art picture that will translate into??? I guess Jordyn can do all the tattoos for Ethan's band mates? Oi vey!
