Apparently it's been awhile since our troop has had a court of honor because Ethan received 3 rank advancements Sunday night. He received his tenderfoot, 2nd class, and 1st class. We went up separately for all 3 of the advancements for me to receive my mother's pin. Nate was out of town and so were the 2 oldest, so Jordyn was the only one left to be on camera duty. She wasn't happy about it because she didn't want to walk up to the front to take the pictures. Sometimes she is so shy and other times she is wild woman. You just never know who is going to show up. Ethan was getting really frustrated with her because he wanted every rank captured on film ( i guess that is an outdated term) despite the fact that you can't tell the difference between each of the 3 times. At one point I had to leave my position in front to go and talk Jordyn into coming closer so that her brother didn't lose his mind. The leaders had each of the boys escort their mothers to and from the front and it was super cute. My little man is growing up.
