Today was our Stake Youth Conference trip to the temple for baptisms. I scrounged up a couple of names for Ethan to take so we could support the day and saved some names for us to do as a family later. While he was doing baptisms I did some sealings.
The church has recently decided to release reserved ordinances that have been sitting undone for 2 years. I had a bunch in danger of being released so I decided to go through everything that I had reserved. I like to wait to do sealings until all family members can be done at the same time. After going through everything I realized that I had 29 sealings I could perform. I only had 30 minutes and I had quite a few that I wanted Nathan to be there with me so I handed over some names that were more distant and we got to work. This is one of the families that I worked on today and I sealed their children to them as well. I was performing these ordinances for 9 -9:30am this morning.
I got the following message from my cousin in PA at 5:27 pm who is not a member of the church and who probably doesn't know anything about sealings and what that even means.
I've laid out the events that transpired today, you decide. Miracle? Coincidence? Are our ancestors aware of us? Are they working on the other side to help us get their work done? Are they bringing us together - gathering?
