Cousins!

We just had a great time playing with cousins for 4 days. We got to swim, eat, hang out, play games and watch movies together. My boys were so excited to finally have some boys to play with. The girls far out number the boys in this family so boy time is crucial to the fairness factor. I had another person to contend with for the affection of little baby Caden who seems to be the star of the show. I of course loved having my nieces and my sister-in-law here to hang out with and to cook for. A little known secret is that I absolutely love cooking, but have no willing audience in my immediate family of extremely picky eaters so whenever I get the chance I go all out. This time I spent all day on knock off Cafe Rio food and it was divine! Luckily the weather warmed up so that the kids could swim the entire time. We also had fun adventures in mouse trapping, taking our dog back to the humane society, spider watching, and a birthday party for Alex (who turned 13). We also stayed up late at night laughing at each others dorkiness and Angies pure lack of information retention when it comes to learning a new game. :) Angie and the kids also got to have Rick take them to the control tower to watch planes land and take off and see what goes on in there. As always we had way too much fun which makes it all the harder to say goodbye. We hope they come back soon!
