I have a 1 minute commentary on completely anecdotal evidence- which was observed by, yours truly.

What ever happened to the phrase "excuse me."

Now, I realize that people still use it, this day was just a particularly bad day.  I also must supply where my data was observed......Walmart.  So take this with a grain of salt.

First offense.  The milk fridge Isle.  There was a younger girl (who knows how old she was, teenager, young adult?) and a little kid and some older lady.  Who knows what kind of family dynamic was happening there, but they were blocking the entire Isle.  Did the younger girl see me?  Yeppers.  The little kid was trying, unsuccessfully, to place a gallon of milk in the cart.  I'm all about letting the kids help so I was more than happy to stand there and wait for him.  Did the girl offer an "oh, sorry, excuse us."  A smile?  Nope.

Next was a little further down by the yogurt.  Another woman's cart was blocking off a fridge, she was in another and her scootered friend was blocking another.  Did she say, "oh, goodness, excuse me" and move something out of the way?  Nope, I just squeezed in-between everything to grab my stuff.  Lovely

Last stop on the rude train was the candy isle.  Enter very tall grumpy old man.  He was impatiently waiting for his wife to decide on her decadence of choice and I needed to get to something on the shelf where he parked his cart.  I tried to look the man in the eye while squeezing between his cart and the shelf and said a pleasant "excuse me" since he didn't offer the pleasantry and he just stood there stone faced and unmoving.  His expression looked something like, "look lady, my life sucks too bad to make anyone else have a pleasant experience, move along."

What is happening to us?  I contend that reality tv has ruined us.  The most vile and rude behavior is rewarded for its entertainment value.  Is there anyone not drunk and in a fight, naked, or having sex on tv anymore?  We've got the president of the united states saying things like "you didn't build that"  "you didn't earn that."  It's all about redistribution of wealth under the guise of income equality.  What's yours isn't yours because someone else built the road or educated you or the litany of other catchy demonic things that are said.  We don't value life at all.  Woman can dress themselves as birth control pills and vaginas and shout that they have the right to kill babies and everyone else should pay for it....and we don't think they are certifiably crazy!  Men get the last laugh in woman devaluing themselves and the sanctity of life.  They are now free from all obligations towards women.  Yay them!

My crazy rant ends with.  What's next?  The thunder dome.  Reeducation camps for the religious.  Getting rid of the medical theatrics of abortion and just do an eye of moloch kinda human sacrifice?  I think it would really help with this global warming thing.  I mean false idols do need sacrifices after all.

The people are ripe for such wickedness.  They aren't looking around and seeing others as humans.  Its a recipe for being able to turn your neighbor in for being a jew.....or in our day....a global warming denier.....a love is love denier.....an income equality denier......a racist

At the rate of speed we are careening down this morally deplete path the faster we end there.  The more society accepts the horrible treatment of people because you disagree with them and therefore are allowed to hate the haters because they are the scum of the earth, the more willing the people are to accept crazy things like mad max thunder domes.  I mean, what else are we going to do with all the people that aren't deemed a value to society and denied healthcare?  Why not let them entertain us and swiftly exterminate them at the same time.   I mean, It's only logical! I fear it's the next stop on this crazy train.

Yep, I came to these conclusions while trying to get some groceries at walmart!

As the world around us gets darker, we've got to get lighter!
