Wrapped

Alright, here is another update on the house. We are in the phase of house building that seems to creep along. If I survive this building experience without being locked in a looney bin it will be a miracle. My garage doors are on and I really like them - sorry I didn't put the picture with the close up of them on. My tiles have been stacked on the roof since this picture was taken, so that's a bit more progress. There will eventually be stone around the living room (to the left of the front door)window, around the inset of the front door, around the inset of the library door, and around the inset of the 2 garage doors. BTW the car in the picture belongs to the guy doing some electrical work in the house. This is the back of the house and if you use your imagination you can see where the pool will be. It will start approximately where that pile of wood on the ground is located- only centered off the pack porch - of course. The pool itself is like 15x35 with a cement pad with cool pool decking around it. They should be digging the hole this week. We are pretty excited about the pool going in and are already dreaming of all the cool pool toys we will have. I am also dreaming of the awesome shape I will be in by doing water aerobics and laps in my pool everyday along with getting a sweet tan (not a scary tan).
This picture below is of the view when you step inside the front door.
This picture is the view if you turn to you right when you are in the entry you will see up the stairs. The library is to the right of the landing that makes that door off the front of the house and to the left is more stairs up to the loft and all the bedrooms and my laundry room.
This picture is still standing in the entryway, but you have turned around and are now facing the front door. There is a pretty big plant ledge under that window up there. I'm not sure how I'm going to get up there, but it is there for whatever crazy thing I decide to put up there. I think it would be fun to put a christmas tree up there at Christmas - any volunteers for getting it up there? :) Sorry about all the entry photos, but without drywall up it is the only area worth taking a picture of.
I should have pictures of drywall and stucco around the 10-15th of June. If I don't you may want to call and find out what mental hospital I have been admitted to and send some flowers and kind words of encouragement. :)

It looks awesome so far. Sorry you're going a little loony over it. All the good things are like that...they require a bit of our sanity to get them. Hopefully you don't lose too much in the process. Can't wait to go swimming in that pool! I can totally imagine it. Oh, and I think Nate, Rick, Kamron and Aaron can totally come up with some cool pulley system to heft a Christmas tree up there...you just might not be able to get them to take it down when Christmas is over. :-)
