We just got our new computer set up a couple of days ago and in the process of moving everything over I stumbled across this picture. When we went to Washington a couple of years ago for my brothers wedding my Mom pulled this picture out to remind me of my talent or something like that..... My senior year of high school I took an art class and this was probably my final or something to that effect. That art class was a blast and I had many great times in there. I took art several times throughout my school years and I'm not quite sure why I stopped because I really did enjoy it as long as I didn't have to come up with something out of thin air to draw. This was a picture out of a magazine. Anyway, can you tell what year it was by the eyebrows and the nice pink background? What really kills me is my Mom's pride and joy of a hideous couch the chalk artwork is resting on for the picture. Oooh and at the top of the picture you can see the real 70's round chair thing with the wicker frame that is back in style now in an updated version. I used to be so embarrassed by that chair....and the couch for that matter......and by everything else in my childhood. I obviously realized that I had little talent and never returned drawing. I really don't even think I could duplicate this thing now. I have turned what little bit of "artsyness" in me to decorating my house and other avenues of expression I guess. Just thought I would give everyone some funny insight into my youth.
