It's a Miracle

This miracle started when I got some sub bread last week.  I was making a ham and turkey sandwich for lunch with some lettuce tomatoes and onions.  I casually mentioned to MJ that maybe she could try a piece of ham on the yummy bread since she eats ham whenever I make it.  The only sandwich she eats is a homemade strawberry jam one..... and you can't get those at any restaurants that I know about.  It is extremely hard for my family to all eat at one restaurant.  Someone is always unhappy or we end up at 2 different places to keep the peace.  Well the miracle took root in the kitchen.   MJ decided to give this putting a piece of ham on bread a try it.  She even added lettuce and onion because she does like those things.  Guess what, she actually liked it.  I decided to take things one step further.  After we finished working at the office on Saturday everyone was starving, so we stopped to get some lunch.  Would we have the same griping about where we could all eat?  I whispered to Nate to just drive to the sub place without telling the kids where we were going and see what happens.  MJ ate a sandwich there. Hallelujah.  You have witnessed a miracle folks.  It was a good day.  Yahoo, we have 1 more place we can all go as a family and she has one more place she can go with friends and doesn't have to eat something fried. Now if we can just get Jared and Jordyn to start working on their list of foods they said they would try this year......we have the kids make one every year and set a goal for how many they were going to try that year.  Ethan eats just about everything so he doesn't need a list, but the other 3 do.  MJ is the only one that actually tries to accomplish her goals.  Good job girl!
