Piled Up

Sometime laundry just makes me weep.  You think I would know by now that doing laundry everyday avoids laundry explosions such as this.  I don't mind so much the doing of the laundry.  Or the folding, because I fold it directly as I take it out of the dryer.  It is the sorting it into piles and having the piles leave my bedroom floor that makes me twitch.  Many would also say that my kids should be doing their own laundry.  I would say to that, you're right.  Now would you kindly come over and teach my kids?  Thanks, much appreciated.  Emma has actually done her own laundry and when she doesn't get her basket to me when I'm doing everyone else's she has to do her own.  Every time, though,  she has sudden memory loss and can't figure out how to do it.   I simply just lack the energy for the fight.  My bad, I know.  I'm getting there.  They both know how to cook and do it quite frequently so I'm not a complete failure and they do have to clean their own bathrooms and they have other chores around the house.  I guess by the time it gets to laundry I'm tapped out.  I've got a couple of years left before I send them both out on missions and I fully plan on sending them out self sufficient.  No overly coddled kids here.  So here I sit "airing my dirty laundry for all the world to see." harharharhar I crack myself up!  ps this pile didn't include everyones sheets.
