My little munchkin is a whole decade old. It's been a fun ride with this little end cap. She's in her last year of elementary school. She decided that instead of singing in the choir again this year she would join band. I went and rented her a flute and 2 mornings a week I sit in the car for an hour while she has band before school- at another elementary school that isn't hers. (I've been utilizing that time to do lesson planning, so it's not all that bad)
The night before her birthday I was refinishing a table and painting a wall. I realized that I should probably do something fun for her and raided my craft closet. Luckily I had some things in there to lock her in her room so she can never get any older :0)
When it's your birthday, you're in charge of where we eat. She picked a place that if I never ate at again in my whole life, I wouldn't miss, but she loves it....besides, who can say no to those chips? She got an expensive gift (no that isn't a phone....but just as expensive) for her birthday so that meant that she wasn't doing a party. But, she did get a super awesome ice cream cake from our new fav place to get burgers and custard. Delish!
