Yesterday there was a 30 percent chance of snow…..I guess the odds were in our favor. It started snowing around 10 pm and you just never know in NM what that means. At 5 am this morning we knew that it meant at 2 hour delay for school and no seminary. Emma was bummed because it's the most snow we've gotten all winter and it was only a 2 hour delay. I'm actually surprised that it is almost 10 am and it still looks like those pictures…..although the sun just appeared so it will all be gone by the time the kids get home from school. It is so fluffy and winter wonderlandy.
As luck would have it, I am making something for our New Beginnings program coming up so my car isn't parked in the garage. Oh well, we need the moisture bad so I can't complain. I'll just have to stay home today to avoid scraping off the snow and getting into a frigid car. I will go for a walk in the snow today because it's too beautiful not to. I love snow….in small doses :0)
I am supposed to be at the temple right now, but that got delayed as well with the kids being home. I'll have to go later in the week to make up for not getting to go today. You win some, you loose some. Oh well, all those blocks are patiently waiting for me to come and finish them up so the decoupage fun can begin…..and then my car can return to it's home. Hopefully the paint will dry with so much moisture in the air.
