Ethan has an etiquette lunch for the 5th graders today. They asked the kids to dress nicely for it. Ethan has a suit and a bow tie so he walked out the door looking sharp today. He was worried about whether or not to wear the suit all day or bring it to change into. I had visions of the suit sitting in a cesspool of nastiness on the bathroom floor while he changed and did my best to help him think through this process. Luckily he went for wearing it all day…..or maybe he put some clothes in his backpack just incase he decided to change. I am going to try not to think about it and just degermify the suit if he comes home wearing different clothing.
He was still nervous about being so dressed up before the lunch, but sighed a sigh of relief when he saw others showing up to before school choir in their nice clothing. When he got out of the car I told him to "knock em dead." He got a huge smile on his face, laughed and off he went. That one, he's gonna be a heartbreaker!
