Advertising Work Party

Tuesday night we went and did one of my favorite things......attended a baseball game.  Ok, so I hate baseball games - unless my kids are playing - even then it's not that great.  But, it's the local thing to do and Nate's staff wanted to go.  We all put on our marketing t-shirts and went to have some highly overpriced fun.  It was the annual 50 cent hot dog night, so the gouging was minimized.  I think our marketing person, Lori, figured that we ate something like 156 hot dogs between all of us that night.  You can see a handful of hotdogs above our heads :0)

We actually had people asking for our business cards and we just told them to photograph our shirts.  Someone asked if there was a foot convention.  Nope, just our office having fun together.
The kids have been playing with their cousins a ton this summer, so of course they were there too.
One of the funniest parts of the night was trying to get a picture of Jared.  He wouldn't even let our marketing person take pictures of him.  Well, she loves a challenge so it became her mission.  At the end of the night when all hope seemed lost because he kept catching her tricky moves, she enlisted the help of her daughter.  Her daughter is in the forefront taking a selfie so she could capture Jared. The sneaky selfie works every time - unless you get caught ;0) Lori is in the top left.  She had so much fun teasing him with that picture and told him that next time he should just pose for one because this is the kind of picture you get when you don't.  In Jared's defense, you can't let all that powdered sugar goodness that falls off your funnel cake go to waste!

Speaking of sneaky selfies, my niece wanted me to go back out and pretend to take another picture of our group, but instead take a picture of some cute boys.  I told her no way because they were hooligans.  She didn't know what a hooligan was.  Gee, am I old or something?  I told her to chill it with the bad boy thing. Bad boys are just that, bad boys.  Which I'm sure just made them that much more attractive.  Oh, silly girls, when will we learn?
