A Million Bucks

When I sat down to write about this little adventure this morning.  I was going in a completely different direction.  Problem.  I had to run some errands and couldn't get anything but the pic downloaded.  Now I'm sitting at my desk with a Zipfizz and the last of my milk chocolate coconut macadamias.  I hate this time of day.  It's when I hit the wall.  If this begins to sound grumpy, I apologize, it just means that the choc hasn't kicked in yet.

Really I don't have much to say.  I just wanted this picture of some of the most awesome and amazing ladies all standing in 1 place documented for all time and eternity.

I've mentioned before that I have a temple group that goes 2x a month.  I've had a group since Jordyn was in Kindergarden and she is now in 5th grade.  It started with just my neighbor and me and then it expanded from there.  There have been many times where I have gone solo or 1 other person will go with me.  We had a pretty good run with 3 of us going, but then summer hit.  Our record was 10 of us all from our ward on a tuesday morning.  That was a fun time because we were like an enigma.

Today was just one of those magical days.  I went from thinking that I was probably going alone to 4 others joining me.  So, my 2 visiting teachers and mentors and best ladies ever came with me.  My kids' piano teacher and the most charitable person you will ever meet and my neighbor and seminary partner.  We were once again an enigma when we showed up.  We got lots of attention for such a large group.  Which makes me sad, but that's one of the perks of going to a smaller temple, you stand out.
Seriously glorious day.  Going to the temple with people you love and then being able to talk about the temple with them is the best way to spend your day.  We learn so much from each other because we bounce ideas off one another.  We each see the world a little differently so it lends itself to some awesome gospel conversations.  Plus we were all doing work for ancestors.  I didn't have my own name today but I did a name for my friend.

So, if you wanna feel like a million bucks (can you even say that anymore and have it mean anything?  A billion bucks?  A trillion? Let's just say, awesome - a feeling of awe).  Grab some friends and head to the temple.
