That's It?

Today we met with the Bishop for tithing settlement.  It was a pretty short meeting and so when we were wrapping things up Jordyn said, "Is that it, we came in here for this?"  We muffled some laughs and then the Bishop wanted to share a scripture with us, but before he started reading Jordyn folded her arms and sat back in her chair and said, "ok, now it's getting interesting."  I about died with laughter and Nathan apologized to the Bishop who was dying with laughter at this point too.  This girl has spunk.  I found a letter in her backpack from Friday that said, "Dear Parince," (parents) with a paragraph about how her teacher was disappointed in her because she couldn't stop talking in class and also in the library.   Then she ended the letter with "Your Dear doter (daughter), Jordyn."  When I asked her about the "dear doter"  part she said, "duh, that's how you write a proper letter."  This girl is going to kill me and she is only 7!  What am I going to be hearing out of her 16 year old mouth?    While I'm documenting Jordy speak, I may as well include some more of my recent favorites.  "brighten it up Mom"  "Mom, you are blowin my mind" and when asked what she was up to "nothing you need to know about."
