Cake Day Plan

What do you do take make an ordinary Saturday a fun and exciting one?  You make it cake day.  Jordyn came home from school with a scheme.  She was wondering why birthday cakes needed to be reserved for just birthdays.  She was "craving" birthday cake and thinks we should make a special day. She must have seen the skepticism in my eyes and decided that writing out such a plan would help seal the deal.
I guess she decided that her reasons for the cake day were made clear to me so all she needed was to make sure that the execution was perfect.  So I got instructions about what kind of cake to get.  With a "you just let me know if we are doing this on Wed or Sat, either will be fine with me, I just want to know."

Cake day plan
Flavor- chocolate and vinilla mixed or just vinilla

Frosting- must have a design because I like extra frosting

extra information- if square it will be great because I like corner pieces of cake.  If circle fine.

Does not have to be a normal sized cake it would be fine if it is small.

You got to hand it to the girl.  She knows what she wants and is specific about it.

Guess what today is?  You guess it - cake day!  We are celebrating our awesomeness and Jordyn's ability to work the system as the youngest child!

She also came home from school on Wed with a sad face and 2 notes (which I looked everywhere for to scan them, but I can't find them)  She even had the sad face to go with them.  She handed me the notes and then put her head down on the table complete with the whimpering noises she makes when she's in trouble.  One was an apology letter for being bad at school.  It had lots of details - like she got mad, crumpled her paper and threw it at a boy.  Then she admitted that she had cheated on something.  There was a place for my signature at the bottom.  The next note was "I'm sorry" 10 times and "I'm so sorry mommy" another 10 times with a place for my signature at the bottom.  She has had to bring a real note like this home for me to sign before, but this was a bit suspicious with the addition of the I'm sorry 20 times note.  You never know and she was doing an excellent job of being sad.  The notes were so darn cute that even if she did do those things I was having a hard time being mad, so I said in my best sad voice "uh oh."  Then she just started busting up.  Little stinker.  Now that I know her acting skills are so refined, she's gonna have a much harder time getting out of trouble.

**Addendum - Jared asked me why on earth we had a cake in the fridge.  I asked him how he didn't know it was cake day with Jordyn talking about it every second of every day for the past week.  I told him that she presented me with a plan I couldn't refuse and he said "ah man, she should have consulted me, I could have made an awesome power point presentation."  lol, my kids crack me up

He then proceeded to give me a list of his skill set.
Excel spreadsheets.  He said that he recently discovered the joy of them this year and he's made aprox 40 of them.  He got bored one day in class and made an excel spreadsheet for each student in his grade for how they could finish their classes early with his schedule for them.
Power point.  He rocks them and loves to make them.  I've seen some of them and they are better than anything I could ever do.
Computer programming.  He claimed he wasn't very good but then proceeded to tell me that he is getting pretty good at Ruby so if anyone needs to make an app, he's their man.
Rock climbing.  He's pretty boss at it.

I then asked if he had any other skills and he said: "nope, had I been born in any other time I would have been pretty much useless aside from the rock climbing."  Then the golden opportunity presented itself and I said "That's why you are the chosen generation and reserved specifically for this time-  BOOM!"
