Jared made the local newspaper while doing a project for school. I'm a little bummed that they didn't take a picture of him in his suit. I had to rush it down to the school because they filmed his interview with our local state representative, Jason Harper. Every year the 8th graders have to work together to come up with a bill to take before the city government. After changing their minds a couple of times, they finally decided they wanted to do something about our horrifically high drunk driving rates here in the state. You can read all about it. When he got home from school he was still wearing half of the outfit. He is big into the bow tie right now. He was getting so many compliments at school from the ladies that he came home declaring that this was his new "everyday" wear. Yep, that would be my kid! Fun little fact: my first (and only year) of (community) college I took a briefcase instead of a backpack. Oh yes, I did. Now you know the apple doesn't fall far from the 'ole nerd tree.
What a sharp dressed man. :o)
