First Day

Today was the first day of school for all of my kiddos.  The 2 oldest didn't start last week like everyone else in their grades because they do school on-line 3 days of the week and 2 days they go in.  This is my little mans last year in elementary school.  I don't know how he managed to get into the same class as his "brother from another mother" but he did.  They even showed up wearing the exact same shirt.  I had to give them the stern talk about behaving and not driving their teacher mad before they got on the bus.  They pinky promised they would be good little boys.  Hopefully their teacher finds their antics as adorable as I do.  Jordyn was decked out in new clothes from head to toe and spent much time in contemplation over which outfit to choose.  She is adorable.

As you can see, my 2 oldest would not allow me to take a picture of them.  It was a bit chaotic when they were trying to leave because the cat had escaped.  That darn cat is always causing trouble!  I was in a skirt and heels trying to chase her down and get her out from under the RV.  So, Emma managed to get into the car before I could get a picture.   She refused to roll down the window and just drove off.  Stinker!  The thanks I get for saving her cat from becoming the coyotes next meal!



*Update:  My daughter said that she was in a frazzled mood this morning and that if I came out to the front door she would pose for her, first day of school, picture.  She said that no one would be the wiser that it didn't happen this morning. *wink, wink* haha I merely mentioned to Jared that he might stand there too.  Awww, a completely unsolicited picture.  I think I just got a little misty eyed  :0)
