Oh Ye Wise One

After our very nice FHE we were sitting around joking and laughing and Jared shared some of his wisdom regarding women with us.

Nate and I were having a playful argument and J said (to his Dad) "there's only 2 types of arguments you can have with a woman and both end in you being wrong."  He followed that up with another quote from his favorite duck guys " If your woman isn't happy she'll find every way to make you unhappy."

You are learning, young jedi, the ways of keeping your sanity when dealing with women. lol  The kids took this as an opportunity to point out the list of things that I have done or said that prove those 2 quotes.  The truest stuff is always the funniest.

The fun filled night ended with one final bit of wisdom from my 14 year old son "when a woman asks for your opinion they don't want to hear your opinion, they want to hear their opinion in a deeper voice."  We were all rolling on the floor laughing.

Jared has mastered the delivery when saying stuff like this.  He likes to listen to the pg comedy channel and a couple of specific comedians.  You can also count on him finding ways to insert those comedy bits into our daily conversations.  We have some favorites in our house right now that really get us all laughing.
