SmOw!
This was our first Sunday with the new church time of 9am instead of 1pm. We were enjoying our afternoon so much that after dinner we decided to try out the smore maker gift that Santa brought our family. We had everything to make this an awesome good time. Flat marshmallows (which are brilliant btw as Emma is demonstrating by putting the choc on top while you toast it to get it melted a gooey), chocolate marshmallows, starbursts (a family favorite thanks to their cousin Ally), chocolate, andes mints and graham crackers. All was going along smoothly until jordyn decided to put chocolate on the end of her skewer...... she got what looks like a snake bite on the palm of her hand. She was not a happy girl. Not 2 minutes later what brilliant idea does Ethan come up with? You guessed it. Putting chocolate on the end of his skewer. What happened? When the choc broke away the skewer stabbed into his finger. We were just waiting for Jared to injure himself next because he was heating up his to help get the starburst on easier (which may or may not have been my idea). Emma figured she was safe because it was going in order from youngest to oldest so she only needed to worry if Jared hurt himself. Luckily we finished up the fun with only the 2 injuries, but the night is still young...... :0)
