The New Office
Our Christmas vacation was full of moving excitement. The day after Christmas we had to move everything from the old office to the new temporary office space. There is a lot of heavy equipment and tons of supplies. The 2 oldest went and helped while I stayed home with the 2 youngest. Ethan managed to get a fever and a cough so I couldn't even go for some of the day to help. The next day we went in to hook up all the computers and unpack everything. I got Nate's personal office unpacked and organized and then I hung all the pictures on the walls and broke down a million boxes. The third day of moving is when I took these pictures. The little ones hadn't got to see Dad's new office yet and we had some things to check on to make sure everything was up and running and ready to see patients. The kids love to play with the wheel chairs so we had some races. Jordyn was pleased to see the picture that she had drawn and then crumpled up and thrown in the garbage because she thought it was bad because of the head being big, was rescued and hanging in Dad's office. The new location is right off the freeway and we are very excited about it. The permanent office space is being built right next door. In fact there is black tarp separating the 2 spaces. We are looking forward to all the new things we will be doing this year with the office and patient care. Our fingers are crossed that between the fiscal cliff and health care changes we can continue to make a living. We may have to start excepting chickens and goats for payment because it is adapt or die. btw, do you think that computer monitor is big enough? Good grief, he must be getting old man eyes to need one that big!
