Quote Wall

I finally got everyone to turn in their favorite quote from conference.  I had a hard time narrowing it down, but I thought that the quote I chose summed up all of conference for me.  Looking at it again today, I'm seeing a reason for the dream.  I was printing those quotes out last night before I went to bed, so I must have had thoughts of courage on my mind.  The quotes may not be exact because they were taken from the notes of my family members.  I didn't look them up.  I did look mine up because I couldn't remember the beginning of it - so I cheated just a little.  It took Nate awhile to turn his into me because he wasn't prepared mentally for the ramifications of the quotes I was asking for.  He didn't realize that it was supposed to shape his life for the next 6 months and that was too much pressure. haha  I think it is cool that none of us chose the same quote or even a quote by the same person.  Conference is always individualized to the person receiving the message.  I love that.  Even in a general meeting the Lord is teaching, through the Holy Ghost, one by one.  Nate also teased me that it was blasphemous that I didn't choose an Elder Bednar quote.  No worries, I still love him, but I can learn from everyone....which is the way it is supposed to be.
