As everyone knows, yesterday was April Fools day. I'm not a big fan of the day. I don't like jokes being played on me so I don't play them on others. Call me a fuddy duddy. This doesn't stop my children from enjoying the day though.
Jordyn was at it again, only this time, she managed to con her substitute teacher into the prank to make it more believable this time. Bummer for her that even the handwriting didn't suck me in this time. Everything that was written was too unbelievable. But, I've got to hand it to her, it was a valiant effort. I asked if the teacher wrote them for all the kids in her class and she said "no, just me and my friend went and asked her to write them." If I would have had more time after school yesterday, I would have sent her in with a cake today because the teacher was awesome for being willing to help my daughter prank her mom - which Jordyn enjoyed immensely.
Jared went for the scare the pants off of someone, namely his sister, for his prank. He must have been bored at school again because I'm pretty sure he didn't do this at home. Emma freaked out when she saw this on her car. I'm not sure how long before she noticed the officers names or the writing on the back that said April Fools or if Jared was busting up. They did succeed in giving her a heart attack - according to Jared. Emma swears it wasn't as dramatic as that and that she knew right away because the charge didn't make any sense. It was still a fun prank and it means that he actually loves his sister enough to spend time trying to prank her :0)
