Jordyn's 9th Birthday

We went to AZ this year on Jordyn's birthday.  We were there on a rescue mission for my friend and got to celebrate a birthday too.  Before we left, Jordy apparently got ahold of my phone to txt my friend that it was going to be her birthday while we were there.  My little sneak worked her way into insuring that there would be a present for her when we got there.  Too hilarious!

This is how sweet my little girls is.  We were trying to figure out how to celebrate with so many little kids.  My friend has 7 kids and 4 of them are ages 4 and under.  The thought of taking out all the little ones was more than my friend thought we could handle.  Jordyn came up with her own solution.  She decided that we should just get pizza and bring it to the house so that everyone could be happy.  I was game and ready for action wherever she chose to go, but she thought it would be better to stay at the house.  She gets her way a lot, so it was nice to see her doing something nice for someone else on her birthday.

All my little teenage 9 year old wanted was fake glasses for her b-day.  So, she got 2 pair.  She had an absolute blast playing all weekend with her partner in crime and bestie, S.  When those 2 get together it is diva city.

I can't believe that my baby is 9 years old.  Was it really 9 years ago that I was pregnant for the last time?  I am just reminded everyday how little time I've got to get this parenting thing right.
